I have loved reading for as long as I can remember. My parents have my collection of Dr. Seuss books stashed away at their house along with a bookshelf full of books I bought as a teenager. My bookshelves here at our house are full of a variety of books, as is my Kindle. So I always knew that I’d want to pass that love of reading down to my children.
Can we take a second to acknowledge something just absolutely crazy? There’s probably something like a million designers out there right now for our potential clients to choose from when they need design work done. Let that sink in for a second. It’s no wonder that all of us occasionally go through dry spells with work. If you think about it, some of our potential clients might be caught in that space trying to figure out who to work with which could be keeping them from working with anyone.
Last week I talked about why your client experience is so important, and once you start thinking a little deeper, it’s probably more than obvious the way your experience can impact so many things like the ability to get referrals or just enjoy working with your clients. But what do you do when you know that things aren’t up to par? You know you could be doing better, but you just can’t quite identify the things that need help let alone go about improving them?
