I’m so excited to be sharing another project launch with y’all today! My work with clients has been pretty steady, and I’ve been so lucky to work with some really amazing ladies so far this year. This project officially launched just over a month ago, and I’m really happy to finally getting around to sharing it with you guys!

Inspiration Board for Champagneista by Kory Woodard

Kim got in touch with me around late January with interest in getting a new design and transferring her site from Blogger to WordPress. She had been referred to me by a previous client, so I knew that we were going to be a great match from the start. Kim was so easy going throughout the entire project, and we’re both just thrilled with how everything turned out!

When we got started on Kim’s moodboard, I knew even more that this project was going to be a fun one! She had previously told me that she wanted a more sophisticated design, so we went from her having a hot pink and gold look for her brand and blog to something a little softer yet still fun. I loved the idea of incorporating a few different shades of pink to play off of each other, so we went with those as well as a fun gold foil for her logo.

All of my blog and web design projects are built around this one idea: to let the content sit center stage and the design beautifully complement it. This was especially true for Kim’s blog, since she’s primarily a fashion blogger. I knew she’d be sharing a lot of outfit photos and I didn’t want the rest of the design to distract from that. The design should slip nicely into the background but still be present in the details, like Kim’s playful “I’m so pinning this!” pin it button and the special pops of personality and more gold foil on her About page.

This project turned out minimal yet fun, and I’m so happy with that. I’m even happier that Kim is just as pleased with the final look. You can check out her live design right here!

Instagram post 2155279375235577188_5365222 When Emma was born one of the things I was most excited about was being creative with her. This year we’ve fallen in love with drawing with crayons (and pens and pencils), finger painted canvases, painted ice, and now we’ve painted pumpkins.
Instagram post 2144359726742696864_5365222 We woke up yesterday morning and decided to go shopping. Then we remembered stores open late on Sundays and ain’t nobody got time to wait until 11am to start shopping. We made an impromptu trip to the beach instead, and it was the best. 😍🙌🏼
Instagram post 1946610170362018318_5365222 2018 is in the books, and it was one of the best and hardest years for me. Being Emma’s mama has brought me so much joy - I literally cried when she laughed for the first time. But taking care of a newborn alone was a huge challenge that I didn’t think I was going to make it through many nights in early in the year.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
We had an amazing summer while my husband was home, soaking up every second of time we had together before saying “see ya later” for another 4.5 months. We did a small home project, and we watched hundreds of hours of tv and movies after Emma went to bed.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This was such an amazing year, even through the challenges, and I truthfully can’t wait to see what 2019 brings. Here’s to another amazing 12 months of life and love ✨
Instagram post 1881440158710440293_5365222 Another day, another farmhouse loving client. As a Magnolia lover, I have to say that working with clients who like this simple, modern, clean, farm look is 🙌🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ #bloomingbusiness #savvybusinessowner #creativeatheart #risingtidesociety #attractyourpack #mycreativebiz # #girlpreneur #beingboss #createcultivate #creativehappylife #thegramgang #ownitcrushit #tnchustler #workingmom #lessworkmorelife #communityovercompetition #calledtobecreative #womeninbusiness #mompreneur #momtrepenuer #creativepreneur #thenativecreative #digitalnomad #theinstagramlab
Instagram post 1850285413572600187_5365222 Do you ever stop and think about just how grateful you are to be doing what you love with the freedom you have? This morning I got a call from my mom about them changing her hours at work, and the more I thought about it the more grateful it made me to be able to define what my hours are on my own.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
However, it also makes me sooo grateful that I'm able to help women grow their business so they can leave jobs that drain them, that change their hours on a whim, that force them to spend time away from their families.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I currently have just a couple more spots open for design projects before the end of the year, and I would love to fill them with women, like you, who are ready to tell their story through their branding and create a website that helps generate leads and sales. If that's you, feel free to DM me or check out the link in my profile for how we can work together.

Instagram post 1845107101418142870_5365222 If there’s one thing about design that I want all creative entrepreneurs to know its that thoughtful design can help you reach the right people, increase your profits, and allow you to finally get out from behind that computer 24/7 so you have more time to live your life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Sound too good to be true? 🤔
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s totally not! Just think about it. Your branding can help you attract the right people and get them wanting to learn more about your business. Your website can steer people to your best content and get them to want to check out what services or products you offer. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
When you think about that, its a little easier to see how design can help your business in such major ways, right? 🙀
