Hi friends! Even though I had posts going up last week and I was popping into social media some, I still feel like I haven’t been around here in a while! It’s definitely different to take a whole week off rather than a few days here and there like what I did last year. We’ve had a lot going on over the last couple of weeks, so I’m thrilled to finally be sharing an update with y’all. So, here we go:
+ In case you didn’t realize, we just spent the last week at home with our families. My MIL + one of my BIL came over on the 2nd for D’s graduation, and then the following Saturday we headed home. It was weird being back home at first, but it was certainly nice to see everyone. We were lucky enough to be home for D’s older brother (he has four) get married this past Saturday. Even though we haven’t been able to get to know the gal he married very much, I still teared up seeing her walk down the isle. It was such a beautiful event. She DIY’d the majority of the decor, and it all turned out so well. Like, I wanted a souvenir it was all so pretty!
+ While at home, I went crazy building up my Project Life supplies. I spent probably $75 on everything, but I got a ton of new pieces, a new binder, and a lot of page protectors for both my 6×8 binders and a little 4×4 binder I got a few weeks ago. I’m thrilled to finally be home so I can start printing pictures and getting back to making spreads. Scrapbooking is something I’ve always been amazed by, and I’m so excited to finally have found a hobby that I can work on and really enjoy.
+ I finally shared a new ecourse idea that I’ve been thinking about over the last month or so last week. I’ve talked here on the blog and in the Letters to the Wild Hearts about how my last ecourse totally failed, but I’ve also talked here on the blog about how you have to learn and just move on from failure. That’s exactly what I’m doing. I really see the value in having an email list, but I don’t think you have to use icky tactics to grow your list, which is why I want to help you create and grow your own list the same way I’ve built mine up over the last couple of years!
+ If you’re a blogger who loves snail mail, the next matchup for Postmark Society is this Friday! If you’ve missed the news on PS, I’m running in through the remainder of the year and giving it a little more attention to help me decide where I want it to go in 2016. I’ve had such a good time connecting bloggers to new friends and hopefully new people in and out of their own niche, but it is a lot of extra work and the hype for it has been going down over the past year. If you want to join and help keep it alive, you’re welcome to sign up here.
That’s about it around here. We’re all getting ready for a busy week getting back into our routine.
What’s going on with y’all? I’d love to hear from y’all in the comments!
