Happy Friday, my friends! I’m so excited that it’s finally time to relax around here after a rather odd week, ending with finding out I was summoned for federal jury duty back home. Yikes!
We’re spending this weekend going out to eat and to see Pitch Perfect 2 with two of D’s good friends. The perfect thing about that statement is the two friends are guys, and all three of these guys want to see the movie as much as I do! One of the friends was even in an A Cappella group in college. They’re aca-awesome! Anyway, we’re also going to be preparing for my parents, who are coming to visit next weekend. If I’m a little quiet on social media next week, bear with me! I’ve got some deep cleaning to do before they get here.
Anyway – enough about me! Here are some of my favorite posts from this week:
Olivia shared about how your future self wants you to slow down. I really love her points here. This is a must read, especially if you’re a millennial.
Corina talked about the age old question for designers and artists: where she finds inspiration.
Victoria shared her thoughts on the future of blogging over on The Well, and I’m really fascinated by her predictions. As someone who’s been in the blogger scene for about 3 1/2 years, it’s really crazy to see it start to shift in a different direction.
A few weeks ago I talked about how to create great graphics on a budget, and now Jessica has shared her two favorite Photoshop alternatives. These are both great if you’re not in the place to by editing software yet!
Melyssa talked about why you should give away content if you want to sell digital products. I couldn’t agree with her more on this!
Feel like you have too much time on your hands? Dana shared 6 things to do when you have nothing to do.
