Happy (almost) weekend, y’all! I hope you don’t mind, but I’m playing around with graphic styles for the blog, and this is one I’m changing up!
I don’t know about you guys, but I’m excited for this weekend. It’s supposed to be rainy around here with the tropical storm moving towards us, but I don’t mind because I grabbed Solitare from Overdrive this week, and so far I’m really intrigued by it. Also, it’ll be nice to have a few days of D not worried about a test (he had two this week), so maybe we’ll be able to do something fun.
Anyway, here are some great posts for y’all –
Lisa talks about what your site analytics really mean, which is a valuable read for everyone! Have you considered if you really need tons of pageviews or what your referrals are?
Jessica shared some awesome hashtags to help your photos get seen + shared on Instagram. If you’re trying to grow your following over there or just meet new people, definitely check out those hashtags!
I looove Amber’s post on rooting your blog in good soil. She’s 100% right; it’s not all about growing your blog as fast as you can. Think about what you’re really building.
Have you thought about how you’re treating yourself IN your business? If not, you totally need to read Sarah’s post on the topic. It’ll definitely make you reconsider how hard you may be going on your only employee.
I’m so happy Joanna talked about the failure of the Yellow Room Kickstarter. Too many people go through business believing no one that they look up to ever fails, and this is a fabulous eye opener on how to handle failure gracefully for everyone.
Lastly, Jessica shares how to set up Rich Pins for both Blogger and WordPress. If you don’t know what that is, hop over and check out her tutorial, and while you’re there – I dare you not to get sucked into the rest of her posts.
