Whew! Happy Monday, friends! If you don’t follow me on Instagram and the photo above doesn’t just blatantly give it away – D and I are now puppy parents! We adopted this little girl on Friday night, and we have been loving her so much ever since. Having a little furry friend is a whole new thing to get used to, but so far I think we’re all doing well. As I mentioned on Instagram, I’ll do a post on our adoption experience with her sometime in the next few weeks. For now though – not quite as many things have happened since my last post other than the puppy update.
+ We haven’t made any more progress on the house. I think right now we’re comfortable and not feeling like we have to go out and get a bunch of things. I had planned on sharing the office for y’all by now, but I’m hoping to just get a few more things on the wall before I do! Don’t worry though! I haven’t forgotten about sharing the look with y’all.
+ I’ve slowed down on reading, but I’m still working on my goal of 30 books for the year. I started reading Dark Places a few weeks ago I guess, and it was slow for me to get into. That plus having a big site to install that ran over last week kept me from reading as much as I’d like to. This weekend I’ve been trying to sneak in a few chapters here and there, but with a puppy that’s a little more difficult!
+ I’ve officially cut website development out of my services. I’m still developing blog designs, but developing websites is starting to be just too much work. I don’t have a ton of knowledge on responsive work, and to put it bluntly have no interest in learning. It’s beginning to be a headache, so last week I decided to officially pull it from my offerings even though it was a tough decision. I’m hoping this won’t deter anyone from working with me.
+ Lastly, I’ve been contemplating classes! One of my goals this month was to brainstorm some products for y’all, but I have to be honest – I’ve been thinking of classes since the beginning of the year. After some encouragement from my gal pal Christie, I’m thinking they might actually be something that’s doable. So, if there’s something specific you’d want to learn from me, feel free to email me or leave it in the comments! If there’s enough interest in a topic or two, I’d be willing to launch a class or two within the next month!
There you have it! I think getting Zoey has been the neatest thing we’ve done all year, and might actually be our best decision of 2015.. we’ll see!
