Two years ago I noticed a trend among my blog friends – everyone was picking a word for the new year. Initially, I was stumped, I had no idea what mine would be. (In case you’re wondering, 2013 ended up being live.) Last year, things were a little easier. I knew the general direction the year was heading, and I just knew that courage was what I was going to need to face all the new things that were coming.
This year was a little tougher. I know general things that will happen, but I can’t honestly say I know where we’ll end this year. Knowing that left me pondering the possibilities of the new year. Where will I take my business? How will I expand and grow my brand? What will D and I see and do this year, in our first year of marriage?
Then it hit me. Growth. I want to grow my business. Grow my blog. Grow my brand in general. Grow as a person, a wife, a long distance daughter.
As my first full year without school, quickly approaching the end of my first year of full-time business it’s actually been fun to consider the possibilities. Things are all starting to fall into place with business and personally, and I’m so excited to see what this new year brings.
