Over the past two years I’ve been sharing moodboards from projects with my clients. Even before I was sharing them from my freelance client work, I used to create fun, totally random ones just for this blog! Since my audience started growing, I’ve been getting regular questions about how I make my moodboards. It’s a pretty simple process, but I thought I would share a free template for those of you interested in making your own!
Obviously the imagery you use in the moodboard is totally up to you! I have a set process I go through with my clients to create the moodboards you see around here now-a-days, but when I was creating them for fun, I would collect imagery based on colors, seasons, or just actual moods.
Once you download the file, open it in Photoshop and you’ll see the simple directions on how to use it! Please feel free to share with me the pretty moodboards you make with this!
Note: The template was created for Photoshop and will not work in another program. It should automatically start downloading once you’ve clicked the link. This template is for your use only – be it in business or for your blog; however, it is not for resale or redistribution.
