Here we are y’all, officially a quarter of the year has come and gone. Part of me feels like I’m getting so little done, but to be honest this year is going really well. Business has been doing pretty good, and I’m pretty confident on how my school projects are going along. As usual, let’s recap last month –
More date days / nightsDone! Mostly by accident, but I’m okay with it regardless!Share more blogging tipsWell, then again not so much. I shared this post, but didn’t quite get around to starting the series I was planning- Create a business budget – Negative on this one.
- Start running again – Negative on this one as well. I did walk more this month, but the weather was still cold and crummy. Hopefully going to get better on this one this month.
Get simplified digitallyDoing well on this one. I’m getting better at backing up my computer ( mostly because I almost lost my hard drive ).
So there’s that. Not super stoked with the outcome of last month, but I’ll take it. The most important goal was to make more date days / nights with D, and I’m really happy we pulled through with that one. This month is a little bit different, but I’ve still got some great goals –
- Keep a level head – I’ve heard that leading up to when the guy leaves for deployment tension just naturally builds up as both people are trying to cope with it. While D will just be leaving for boot camp, I still want to take special care to keep a level head this month.
- Share more behind the scenes of my process in business – I’ve done a bit of this already here and here, as well as in my process posts. However, I’d like to see where I can share specifically what I do, so I want to work on that.
- Evaluate rates + revenue for this year – I’ve been doing really well in business this year, and it’s about that time to reevaluate my rates. I’m not planning on doing anything yet, but I want to see how things are lining up.
- A raw challenge – which I’m already doing! I was actually planning on doing this later in the month or next month but it just lined up to work perfectly this month.
- Clean apartment of unused and unnecessary stuff – this is a big one! We’ll be moving out of our apartment next month as D leaves, and I’ll be moving back home with the parents! So, I don’t want to lug around a lot of unnecessary stuff, so now’s the time to clean out ( at least a little bit )!
Well, there you have it! I’m pretty confident that I am going to get these done, as one of them is already underway. As usual, if you’re setting goals with me this month, feel free to share them in the comments! I’d love to hear and help each other stay accountable!
