I remember when I was younger my parents would always talk about how quickly time ( i.e. the year ) went by. I remember them saying that when I started school the years started going by faster for them. I also remember as I got older the years started to seem like that went by faster and faster each year. I’ve noticed that my years in college have been no different. If anything they seem to go by faster. Moral of the story? Holy. Crap. It’s February.
Before we dig into my goals for February, let’s recap January’s goals:
Set work / life boundaries// Getting much better about shutting down at nights and on the weekends; however, I could get better about shutting down at night.Share more tips + personal posts// Done! So happy I finally shared this post.Start tracking business expenses( and continue this each month ) // Doing really great at this. Definitely hoping to keep it up.Drink more waterand do at least 30 minutes of yoga every day. // Been doing much better with water, but yoga, not so much. I only did yoga once last month. Yikes.Start cleaning out my childhood room// Did this the second week of the month
I’m pretty happy with how last month went, honestly. Although I failed on my yoga goal, I did really good on everything else. The one goal that I really want to continue working on is number one. I can already tell that this semester of school is going to need a lot of time, and setting better work boundaries will help me with my time management for school. With that being said, let’s dive into February:
- Less unnecessary screen time ( I literally hate being on the computer / ipad / phone for the sake of being on rather than doing or looking at something )
- Celebrate 2 years of blogging ( got something big coming later this month )
- Use my contract with every client ( so far so good, lets see if I can keep it up )
- Less junk food and more water ( Yes, more water )
- Buy smart: things that are actually useful ( no impulse buying, at least for the month )
These goals are super important to me. I really feel like everything I’m working on this year is going to make me a better person in one way or another, and I like that.
If you’re setting monthly goals with me, I’d love to hear your goals for this month! Let’s keep each other accountable!
