So! I know I haven’t been sharing much on what I’ve been doing in school so far this semester, and that’s because most of the projects I’m doing are several weeks long. That means I really haven’t been doing that many different projects. However, we just finished a project last week for my Graphic Design II class that I wanted to share. This was a huge project as I’m sure you can tell by the image above. We had to create a visual identity for something that fell into our interests. I had originally planned on doing a magazine, but decided to go with something else that dealt with music instead. That led me to a management and PR company. I named the company Native Shine (as you see), and created the following pieces for it: logo, business card, letterhead, envelope, website, buttons, stickers, brochure, cd and cd jacket.
On the website I did use images by Emily Tebbetts, Shannon Miller, Charmaine Olivia, and Ben Sasso. If you’re interested in seeing more of their work, links to their websites are below.
After turning in the project yesterday and receiving critique, I think I would have done this slightly differently if I were to do it again. I’m thankful to have had experience with branding before and to gain more experience with this. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I hope to work on projects like this in the future!
